Overview

The College of Animal Science and Technology/ College of Veterinary Medicine(CAST/CVM) actively expands international exchange programs, encouraging students to study abroad and promoting the internationalization of talent cultivation through various channels such as through inter-school and inter-departmental exchange projects, summer school projects, research internship projects, joint training projects, and visits to renowned universities. The School of CAST/CVM has established joint undergraduate and graduate training programs with esteemed universities such as the Massey University, University of Minnesota, Murdoch University and provides summer research internship programs with overseas universities. Each year, the school invites eminent professors to teach cutting-edge summer courses, ensuring that students are exposed to the latest developments in the field. In addition, undergraduate students have the opportunity to visit prestigious universities through school international exchange programs. The universities involved include University of California, Davis, Auburn University, Massey University, Murdoch University, University of Alberta, Kitasato University, among others

In 2003, HZAU became the first pilot unit of "high level experts to develop highly-educated foreign students", so it was granted the qualification to receive the students sponsored by >Chinese government scholarship. HZAU has International College, engaged in enrollment and management of foreign students (including undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students, post doctorates and visiting scholars), management and teaching of >Chinese as a foreign tabbar of international exchange students. Up to now, there are more than 500 foreign students from 50 countries and regions to receive further education in HZAU.
